The Battlefield

The combat takes place on the battlefield, that is 8 rows of 5 hexagonal frames (hexes). Total hexes are 40. Each side has 20 hexes. Size of the units will depend on their tactical value. Normally tier-1 units have size of 1 hex, tier-2 units have size of 2 hexes and tier-3 units have size of 3 hexes. Although there may be some exceptions.

Health Point (HP) refers to the amount of points on a unit which is used to determine who is the winner. If a unit is struck on all its hexes, it is considered “dead” for the rest of the game and the player’s total points will be deducted by the exact number HP of this “dead” unit.

The player has to arrange their unit’s position on the battlefield, try to figure out the opponent units’ position, then set up their turn of attacks tactically in order to precisely hit the enemy.

Normally, tier-1 units are able to strike once per battle while tier-2 units are able to strike twice. Tier-3 units are able to strike twice, however they will have their ultimate abilities which are able to turn the tide of battle in some cases.

When the arrangement is done, both players have to roll the dice to decide who attacks first. Then the system automatically pitches both armies into battle, from turn to turn. Each unit hits according to their pre-set arrangement. If a unit is considered “dead” (their hexes are all struck) and it still has not made an attack, it will lose its turn and the next unit in arrangement takes turn.

When all units finish their turn, the system automatically recounts how much damage each player has dealt. Player who has the highest HP remaining will be the winner.

If both players have the same health points, the match is considered a draw and will be a rematch.
